Treasury Marius

Treasury Marius (1950 -), French soccer player, rear Central team to France in the early 1980s. Marius Tresor was born in Sainte-Anne (Guadeloupe). He began his career at AC Ajaccio before being transferred in 1972 to Olympique Marseille, then in 1981 in Bordeaux, the club where he ended his career in 1984, the year of its only league title France. He also won a Cup in France in 1976 with Olympique Marseille. From 1971 to 1983 he was selected 65 times for France (which then constituted a record) and scored 4 goals. Marius Tresor participated in World Cups 1978 and 1982.

In 1982, although he scored a goal in extra time, he could not prevent the team from France, who also had in its ranks Michel Platini, Manuel Amoros, Jean Tigana and Alain Giresse, to be eliminated in the semi-final by Germany on penalties.
