Yashin, Lev (1929-1991), Soviet football player, goalkeeper of the team USSR from 1954 to 1967.

Lev Yashin was born in Moscow. He spent his entire career (from 1949 to 1970) in the club Dynamo Moscow, with whom he won five championships (1954, 1955, 1957, 1959, 1963) and three USSR Cups (1953, 1967 and 1970). He who was nicknamed the "Black Spider" was selected 78 times in the team of USSR from 1954 to 1967. He won the Olympic title in 1956 against Yugoslavia and the European Nations Championship, again against Yugoslavia in 1960, he was also a finalist in 1964, losing to Spain, he was elected Ballon Gold Europe in 1963.
